Incidents
Incident report and record management.
• Open the form to create a new incident report.
• Use By Site to view reports under Company Sites and Other / Client Sites. Company Sites opens first and Other / Client Sites starts closed. Individual site rows start closed on a fresh entry and stay open during same-page actions and when returning from an Incident Report or Incident Register.
• Empty Other / Client Sites are hidden by default. Use Show empty sites inside that category header to reveal them. Company Sites remain listed even when empty.
• Use By Worker to group reports by the injured worker instead. This view remains unchanged.
• The search and sort controls at the top apply to the full incident list. Individual site or worker rows can also be opened or closed.
• Head Office is always a Company Site. Existing non-Head Office sites without a saved site type are treated as Other / Client Sites.
• Use Incident Register for quarterly, six monthly, annual or custom-period registers and signed PDF evidence.
• Level 3+ can manage incident reports, delete, upload site documents, and email saved PDFs.
• Offline light: a red dot means this device is offline; no dot means it is online. Offline Field Use prepares the last 7 days of complete incident records. Recent records can be opened and edited, and new reports can be created and saved on the device until eSafety reconnects.
• Stay signed in while offline. Attachment/site-document names may still be listed, but opening files, uploads, email, Draft PDF, Approve and destructive delete actions require internet.
• Saved Incident Registers are grouped under All Sites and their actual saved Site so they are easy to find.
• Incident Register Draft PDF creates a signed PDF snapshot and does not lock the register.
• Level 4 can permanently delete a saved Incident Register. Hard delete removes the register record and all linked register PDFs.
